dgy and bold, inspiring and powerful, personal and evocative… these are the qualities that define every piece of fine jewelry from Dyanne Belle by designer Deb Schecter.
For more than a decade, from her studio in New York City, Deb Schecter has been inspiring women from around the globe and making them swoon with her original jewelry designs. She combines femininity and versatility with jaw dropping uniqueness that make a woman stand out and be noticed and quite often, envied. Her pieces are made to move between day and evening by blending modern style with the timelessness of classic and subtle references from the past.
The Dyanne Belle collection includes chunky cocktail rings, sexy pendants, chic earrings and cuffs, in addition to more delicate necklaces, simple studs and bands as well as beaded bracelets. No matter what the scale or silhouette, every piece of Dyanne Belle jewelry makes a profound statement because there is thoughtful meaning behind each design and a style that cannot go unnoticed. Each individual piece of jewelry can stand alone or be combined and layered for a more dramatic look. Deb’s ultimate goal is to make women feel great, feel confident and feel beautiful in her jewelry.
Dyanne Belle jewelry is exceptionally crafted by hand to enhance a woman’s natural beauty using only genuine precious and semiprecious stones, such as diamonds, sapphires, rubies, citrines, Peruvian opals and other more unexpected stones. Each stone is hand selected by Deb to insure the greatest quality, color and complexion. To highlight the stones’ inherent characteristics, the only metals that Deb works with are gold, platinum and silver. Because of the unique properties of the materials she uses and the meticulous hand craftsmanship employed, no two pieces of Dyanne Belle jewelry are exactly alike.
Deb often draws from, and is inspired by, the beauty of natural elements, such as leaves and branches, the ocean and celestial bodies. Texture plays a big part in her design and is a signature of her metal work. She has also been greatly influenced by the architecture and culture of New Orleans, where she lived for several years. The Fleur-de-Lis, a quintessential symbol of the Crescent City, is not only common throughout her work, but is also the iconic symbol of the Dyanne Belle brand.
With Dyanne Belle, Deb carries on a proud family tradition of a deep connection to both jewelry and watches. She was greatly influenced by the watches her grandfather’s company produced in the mid-20th century and was further inspired by the glamorous way in which her Aunt Dyanne and Grandmother Belle, the namesakes of the brand, expressed their femininity and individual style through the jewelry they wore. Both of these women, the matriarchs of her family, strongly believed that women must create their own opportunities in life, so Deb honors their legacy as founder, owner and head designer of Dyanne Belle.
Deb is as equally devoted to her brand and passion for design as she is to philanthropy. She is a woman of conviction and one with an incredibly generous spirit. To that end, it is Deb’s mission to help support and raise money for various charity organizations through special pieces of jewelry she creates under the Dyanne Belle brand. 2009 marks the brand’s 5th year of creating a unique piece of jewelry to benefit SHARE, a nonprofit organization serving people affected by breast or ovarian cancer. Deb’s Aunt Dyanne was one of the founding members of SHARE after she developed breast cancer at the age of 28 in 1970, a time when there were few support groups and limited resources for women suffering from the disease.
Dyanne Belle jewelry can be found throughout the United States and in several international cities at fine jewelry retailers and specialty boutiques. The brand also has a devoted following of private clients.
